This page contains announcements which are directed to features and content of the site. It might also contain more general announcements that are deemed of interest to all WorldMark owners. Items will be added at the top of the page with older announcements pushed to the bottom. If the page becomes too large the older items may be split off to a separate page.
Date: February 8, 2012 - WorldMark News page added
A WorldMark News page has been added. The page will list items from the WorldMark web site and press releases and other information of interest to WorldMark owners.
Date: December 12, 2011 - Resort Information Pages Update
The resort page listing in the Resorts Information section have been updated. All resort pages now contain the unit count, size and credit information; a notation indicating whether any taxes (TOT) are applicable; and event calendar links.
Date: December 1, 2011 - Internet Explorer 6 Compatibility
It has been noted that many of the pages do not render properly when using Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6 or earlier. A patch has been applied which may help this problem. However, Version 6 is long outdated and little effort will be expended in troubleshooting the problem. Upgrades of the browser are recommended.
Date: November 22, 2011 - WorldMark Resorts Mileage Table added
A WorldMark Resorts Mileage Table has been added to the site. The table allows you to quickly and easily find the driving distance between any two WorldMark resorts in the mainland US and Canada.
Date: September 22, 2011 - Vacant Night and Occupancy Rate data added
A Vacant Night and Occupancy Rates page has been added to the site. The data is based on the WorldMark 2010 Vacant Night report that is available on the WorldMark web site. The page can be found via the main left side menu or using internal links on a number of pages.
Date: August 25, 2011 - Resort Review Form added
A Resort Review Form has been added to the site to facilitate the submittal of resort reviews. It is hoped that by making it easier to submit reviews more visitors to the site will take the small amount of time required for those submittals. Reviews do not have to be elaborate or minutely detailed. All reviews are helpful when owners are deciding which WorldMark resort they are going to visit.
Get involved. Submit a review. Let other owners hear about your experiences at WorldMark resorts.
Date: August 3, 2011 - Registration Problems
Murphy's law struck again. A "simple" change was made to the Register page to provide more information and the register link was broken. If you tried to register recently and received a "File Not Found" error message, please try again. The problem appears to have been corrected. But since that involved another "simple" change something new could crop up.
Thanks to one of the site visitors for reporting this problem. It would have gone longer if he had not done that.
Date: July 14, 2011 - New Owner Ed Material
A couple of new items have been added to the Owner Ed pages, Creating Only Space Available Days and Managing Housekeeping Tokens. You will need to be logged in as a registered user to see the majority of the content on those pages.
The contents of those pages is not earth shattering but they do deal with some of the nuances of WorldMark reservations that are not widely known. Some people would prefer to keep it that way so the content has been placed in a section with restricted access.
A second reason for the limited access is that perhaps it will prod more users into submitting comments and new material for the site. While the number of people registering on the site has been encouraging, the participation in the form submission of new material or comments on existing material has been disappointing. It's very easy to submit material. Just type or paste it into the comment box at the bottom of every item and click on the Submit button. If some comments have already been submitted on an item, click on the Comments tab to view those comments and open the comments box for additional submissions. Every WorldMark owner knows something others would like to hear. Resort reviews, restaurant and activity recommendations, booking tips, etc. There are provisions for submitting photos too, those are always welcome. Come on people, join in helping meet the Stated Goals of this site and helping your fellow WorldMark owners.
Date: March 25, 2011 - Registration Issues
There have been a number of users who have registered but who have not activated their account. You must supply a valid email address when you register. After you register an email is automatically sent from the site admin to the email address you specified when you registered. The email contains a link to use to set your password and activate your account. The link is active for 2 days following your registration. If you do not activate your account within 2 days the Login Name you used to register will not be recognized and you will need to register again.
If you do not receive the activation email, check your junk or spam folder. Some email systems may put it there. If you make an error entering your email address you may register again using a different Login Name or you may wait 2 days for the name you entered to become inactive and then reregister using the original name you entered.

Date: February 21, 2011 - Owner Ed Menu Update
The top level menus in the Owner Ed section have been reworked to resolve some web browser compatibility issues. If you encounter any problems with the new menus please report them using the Contact Admin link. Please include information concerning which operating system and browser you are using to aid in troubleshooting the problem.
Date: February 5, 2011 - New Software Platform
The WorldMark Timeshare Information web site is now running on a new software platform. The look is different but all content has been moved from the old format. This new format should be easier for users to navigate and for users to submit additional material.
Unfortunately your account information could not be moved. If you registered on the site before the switch over you will have to register again for the new platform. Registration requires a valid email address. After you register you will receive an email with instructions for entering a password for your account.
For more information about the new format and it's features, see the Website Home pages, which are accessible through the main menu.
