Frequently Asked Questions
This section will contain questions and answer which are submitted by users of the site. Time permitting, some initial common questions will be added.
- We cannot make the reservation we made and it's too late to cancel without penalty. Can I give it to a friend and her daughter? (Submitted by Bob, 1-5-2012)
- Absolutely. A guest certificate and/or guest charge is not required. You should call the Vacation Planning Center to get their names on the reservation so they do not have any problems checking in.
- Do or can the maintenance fees ever increase or do they stay the same as the day I bought into the timeshare? (Submitted by Teri, 11-14-2011)
- Maintenance dues increases have ranged from 2.5% to 5.0% over the past years. A table of the increases since 2001 can be found by clicking on this link which will take you to the WorldMark Words blog.
- Are housekeeping fees in addition to the maintenance fees? (Submitted by Teri, 11-14-2011)
- Yes, any housekeeping requirements above your annual housekeeping allotment would incur additional fees. See the Owner Ed - Housekeeping page for details of housekeeping requirements and fees.
- How do I find out what size the beds are in certain units before making the reservation, which when I get the reservation, tells me too late that the beds are not
the sizes I need? (Submitted by Robert, 8-17-2011)
- The most common configuration is a king bed the master bedroom, twins in the second bedroom, and another king in one bedroom for three bedroom units. A number of resorts have two bedroom units with a choice of twin or queen bed in the second bedroom. These are called out on the drop down menus on the booking pages of the WorldMark web site.
There are numerous exceptions to those general room configurations and more detailed information is sparse. The Vacation Planning Center has most bed configuration information and a call directly to the resort would provide more details. The resort phone number is included in the Resort Information pages.

- What are the pool hours? (Submitted by Toni, 8-10-2011)
- The pool hours at most WorldMark resorts are 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, with the first and last hour reserved for adult swim. If you are concerned about the hours at a specific resort you can call them directly. The resort phone number is included in the Resort Information pages.
- If you book a "Monday Madness" reservation a month or more out, can you book bonus time reservations in the interim? (Submitted by Larry, 2-16-2011)
- Yes - Monday Madness reservations are not considered Bonus Time reservations so they have no effect on reserving Bonus Time.
