WorldMark Vacant Nights and Occupancy Rates
The table below shows the vacant nights and occupancy rates for all of the WorldMark resorts. The table is based on data contained in the WorldMark 2010 Vacant Nights Report that is available on the WorldMark web site in the Online Reference Library. This data can be helpful when making plans to visit a resort. In general, a resort with few vacant nights will be harder to book than a resort with many vacant nights. Resort size also affects the ease of booking and is reflected in the occupancy rates. A large resort can have a significant number of vacant nights and still be operating at a high occupancy rate. A small resort with few units may show low occupancy rates even if there are a relatively small number of vacant nights.
The resorts are listed alphabetically by state. For each resort the total number of units is listed, followed by the total number of vacant nights for the year and then by the number of those nights that were weekend (Friday or Saturday) nights. The last two columns present the occupancy rates on an overall and weekend basis. The occupancy rates are calculated from the number of units in conjunction with the number of vacant nights. They are based on a 51 week availability since each unit has one week per year set aside for maintenance.

Thanks for the vacant nights info. The WorldMark website is more detailed and has vacant nights broken down by month. I had trouble finding it since it's not listed on the home page. It's under Online Reference Library > Forms and Information. We are thinking about going to Canmore Banff next fall. It will take us several days to drive there and we would like to use Bonus Time to stay at as many WM resorts as possible along the way. The monthly charts will give us an indication of the the probability of getting a unit on short notice. Also, thanks for your tips on booking successive bonus time reservations.
The details are: First, you need to be logged in to your account on the WorldMark site. Then, on the left side of the page, in the blue menu, click on the Online Reference Library link. Then click on the Forms and Information link. You will then find the link to the Vacant Night Report in the Documents section. The report is split into two parts, each containing 6 months of data.
